Response and procedures

Our COVID-19 response and procedures are based on the current and ongoing guidance and most up-to-date advice of health authorities and Government departments. While Melbourne deals with the reality of Stage 4 COVID-19 restrictions, we want to reassure you that the health and safety of everyone is still of utmost concern.

Before we attend your property to complete the job which has been booked, we will most likely ask you on a number of occasions whether you or anyone you live with has been unwell or been in contact with anyone known to have been infected with COVID-19 in the past 14 days. We apologise if you have to answer the same question a few times, but it is all done with the aim of keeping everybody as safe as possible.

If you answer ‘no,’ we will attend and complete the job as confirmed, with a few changes to the way our technician will complete the job.

If you have answered yes, we will ask you to reschedule your appointment for a later date.

When we arrive at your property, our technician will undertake a number of measures to ensure the safety of anyone living at the property and of themselves.

Wear disposable gloves & a face mask to complete the job

Greet you with a smile, from a distance. We ask that you please also respect social distancing recommendations by keeping yourself and anybody else who lives with you 1.5m away.

Sanitise all areas that will be touched during the completion of the job. This could include things such as the controller, the unit, manhole etc.

Once the job is complete, all areas that the technician has been in contact with will again be sanitised
